When This Is Over
Firstly…
- I will lay on the beach in a blow-up pool.
- I will read the stack of books I have piled up on my shelf.
- I will go for bikerides, without having to be home on time.
- I will be with all those people i said i would be with.
- I will watch the entire Dr Who collection.
- I will drink beer on weekdays.
- I will spend countless hours just thinking.
- I will spend countless hours just chatting.
- I will spend countless hours just laughing.
And then..
- I will hop on a plane.
- I will shop for less in London.
- I will see Arcade Fire + Devendra + Interpol in London.
- I will do all there is to do, in her majesty’s prescence.
- I will try to understand in Paris.
- I will drive a Mercedes to Bruges.
- I will do my best to decipher Amsterdam.
- I will skate Area 21 in Eindhoven.
- I will gain knowledge in Berlin.
- I will watch the snow fall on Christmas in Prague.
- I will drink the world’s largest beer in Munich.
- I will be delighted by New Years in Venice.
- I will watch mum glow, as we walk through Tuscany.
- I will eat pizza and drink red wine in Italy.
- I will marvel, at the Vatican.
- I will stand in awe, at the Parthenon.
- I will be a demigod in Athens.
- I will eat a kebab and their delight in Turkey.
- I will buy a shesha in Turkey.
- I will sleep well on the plane home.
And lastly…
- I will enjoy the company of those I hold dear.
- I will see Deerhunter, Beach House, The Antlers, Ariel Pink,
Local Natives, Foals, Holy Fuck and Bear In Heaven in one day. - I will get a job.
- I will play music.
- I will write stories.
- I will start life.
